Sandra Umathum ist Theaterwissenschaftlerin und Dramaturgin. Sie studierte Theaterwissenschaft, Anglistik, Italianistik und Philosophie in Berlin und Wien. 2008 wurde sie mit Kunst als Aufführungserfahrung, einer Dissertation über intersubjektive Erfahrungen in der Ausstellungskunst, promoviert. 2010–2012 war sie Gastprofessorin für Dramaturgie an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ in Leipzig und 2013-2018 Professorin für Theaterwissenschaft und Dramaturgie an der Hochschule für Schauspielkunst „Ernst Busch“ in Berlin. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Theorie und Praxis des Gegenwartstheaters und der Performance, Performance und Disabilty, Performance und/als Dokumentation und zeitgenössische Formen von Dramaturgie.Jan Deck ist Politikwissenschaftler und arbeitet als freier Dramaturg, Regisseur und Kurator mit unterschiedlichen Künstler*nnen, Ensembles und Theatern, vor allem mit seinem Performancekollektiv Profi Kollektion (mit Katja Kämmerer) und der postmigrantischen theaterperipherie. Seit 2006 arbeitet er für laPROF, dem Landesverband Professionelle Freie Darstellende Künste Hessen.
